DOMAssistant documentation in French
February 22nd, 2008 by Robert NymanThe DOMAssistant documentation is now also available in French, as a download.
Samuel Desnoës has gone through the work of graciously translating the DOMAssistant documentation into French! It can be downloaded from the Documentation page.
If anyone’s interested in translating the documentation to Spanish, please let me know!

Hi,
went trough the French documentation. It’s easy to read, easy to understand, very good! Good work Samuel!
One thing I noticed though: è are represented by an E with 2 dots on it (can’t find it on my macbook keayboard ). And some ‡ appear, where I cannot identify what it was supposed to be. Maybe I am wrong with the last one

I could (only could) make a german translation… but I believe that my translation skills are to poor to get it done decently

Georges,
Yes, Samuel has done a terrific job! I found some of the wrongly encoded characters and have uploaded a new version. Please download it and let me know how it works out for you.
A German translation would be nice, but only if you’re up for it.
I think most countries are so used to documentation in English, while in other countries, it can really help if the documentation is in their native language.
So, any translations are more than welcome (especially Chinese in any dialect).

Okay, looks by far better than before
One thing that popped my eye this time and I really don’t know if it was in there before:
“le cas o˘ un” should be “le cas où un”
This is on page 2 at the bottom, an on page 3 at the top!
And you are right: I live in Austria (coming from Luxembourg) and we work alot with english documentations. Especially in Luxembourg where we learn 4 languages in school
